Draycott-in-the-Clay Methodist Church is situated in Stubby Lane, a short walk from the centre of the village. Although Methodists have worshipped in Draycott for over 150 years and our building appears old, we have a modern interior and good car park and other facilities. Attached to the church is the schoolroom which is used for more informal events. A warm welcome awaits you...
Every Wednesday afternoon from 2.30pm to 4pm, coffee, tea and cakes are served at Church. Visitors and more regular attenders are always welcome.
On some Wednesdays from 2pm to 2.30pm, before the tea, there is a monthly Rainbow Service which reflects on God's promises within the quiet and restful ambiance of the Church.
On the third Friday of each month (except August and December) at 7.30pm there is a prayer and coffee evening to which all are invited to come for a chat with prayer as required.
Sunday Club meets on the last Sunday of each month at 10am and is for young people of all ages.
Saturday Fun Days for Young People are held from 10am to 2pm before some but not all Family Services.
For more details of all activities for Young People please contact + 44 (0)1889 568049.
Saturday Lunches are held regularly and attract the wider community beyond the village. In winter, these are Soup and Sweets and in summer are Salads and Sweets.
