The Methodist Church of Great Britain

Welcome to the Dove Valley Circuit

We are a rural circuit within the Nottingham and Derby District of the Methodist Church of Great Britain. Uttoxeter, an old market town visited by Dr Johnson, Draycott-in-the-Clay and Stubwood churches are in Staffordshire. The remaining churches, Boylestone, Church Broughton, Hatton and Hilton, are situated within Derbyshire. Historically, some of our churches have played a significant role in the development of Primitive Methodism in the early 1800s. Today, in all our churches you will find a warm welcome whether you are attending Sunday worship or a weekday event.

Congratulations to Uttoxeter Methodist Church

Uttoxeter Methodist Church has reopened its doors after a complete interior refurbishment which was celebrated with a Harvest Songs of Praise on 9th October and a Re-dedication Service on 21st October. Both services saw the church well attended and were an enjoyable experience for all.
